Taylor Swift Says Travis Kelce ‘Went All Out’ With Proposal

The superstar shared the sweet story during a recent interview while promoting her brand-new album, “The Life of a Showgirl.”

During her October 3 appearance on “The Graham Norton Show,” the 35-year-old singer explained how the NFL star transformed the backyard of his home into a stunning private garden.

“He really crushed it in surprising me,” Swift said with a smile, per PEOPLE. “While we were talking on his podcast, he had a complete garden built out the back of his house to propose in.”

She described the proposal as pure magic, adding, “He went all out – 10 out of 10.”

Swift, who wore a dazzling black mini dress paired with her sparkling new engagement ring, beamed as she relived the romantic moment.

The pop icon noted that her fiancé, who is now mentioned multiple times on her album, made sure everything about the proposal felt personal and deeply meaningful to their relationship.

When asked about upcoming wedding plans, Taylor Swift didn’t reveal much, but she left fans with a playful tease.

“You’ll know,” she said simply, making it clear she wants to enjoy her current projects before diving into planning her big day.

“I want to do the album stuff first, and the wedding is what happens after in terms of planning. I think it will be fun to plan,” the star added.

Swift has often spoken about how important timing is in her career and personal life.

With her brand-new album out, she explained that she is currently focused on her music.

“I was physically exhausted — sick and worn down — so to spark me up, I had the album as a secret passion project behind the scenes. It stopped me hitting a wall,” Swift said.

Unlike her more introspective records, Swift said this one was about storytelling from a different perspective.

“I think my wheelhouse is bigger now,” she explained. “I feel I can do anything now while running in heels. I am confident to write higher choruses, jump an octave, and do falsetto stuff. I have more confidence after the tour.”

Many tracks, from “Opalite” to the daring “Wood,” are inspired by her relationship with Kelce.
