Swift’s Choice Of Album Cover Also Caught The Eyes Of Critics

While Swifties rejoiced at the news of her latest project and the choice of images for the album, some critics pointed out a few things wrong with the pictures. The singer flaunted her derriere in a sequenced body suit paired with flesh colored fishnet and matching gloves.

As shared by The Blast, Swift leaned on the wall with her back arched while she served the camera a mean mug in the dimly lit room. The singer’s pictures were for The Shiny Bug Vinyl Collection variant of the album, and it sent some fans over the edge, going as far as describing the poses as indecent.

Other commenters claimed the pictures were a desperate attempt by Swift to be an overnight sex symbol. Some people theorized that the singer was doing it all to boost the project’s numbers, due for an October release.

The Songwriter Pulled All The Stops To Prevent Any Album Leaks

Nothing dampens the excitement of a new project release than the songs finding their way to cell phones and devices before their release date. Being quite the perfectionist, The Blast shared that Swift reportedly deployed insane security measures to ensure a word of her album never gets out.

Despite recording the songs during one of the busiest points in her life, during the Eras Tour, Swift made sure just five people had access to the album.

“She was determined to keep the development process under wraps. That was harder to do because most of it was recorded in Sweden and not in her home studio,” an inside source shared.

Swift’s partner, Travis Kelce, her publicist, Tree Paine, producers Max Martin, Shellback, and an unidentified studio engineer were the only ones given access to the work.

“Some of the contributors haven’t even heard the finished album. She really wants to keep it safe for her fans,” an insider shared, adding that everyone had to sign NDAs and keep away from discussing the project with their friends or family.
