After choosing to reframe his mindset about his incarceration, Diddy said he’s “made the best of my time” by reading books, writing, staying active, seeking therapy, and obtaining help to assist him with addressing “my past drug abuse and anger issues.”

“I have been putting in the work and working diligently to become the best version of myself to ensure that I never make the same mistakes again,” he wrote.

However, not all statements to the court painted Diddy in a positive light. His ex-girlfriend, Ventura, also submitted a letter to the judge, urging him to consider all the victims in the case, according to ABC News.

In the letter, Ventura explained that she testified for four days while nine months pregnant in the summer of 2025, describing the sex parties, also known as “Freak Offs,” she was “forced” to participate in. She also mentioned the physical abuse she endured on a constant basis, stating that she turned to illicit drugs to help her numb the pain.

Ventura said she still has “nightmares” of her experiences with Diddy and expressed deep fear for her safety should he be released from prison.
