Anderson applauded Miley’s bravery and fearlessness in being herself and setting trends, rather than following the crowd, sparking an emotional response from the singer. She confessed that she was “always redesigning, reimagining, re-inspiring” not just her creations but the design of her life.

Miley noted that she reflected on her career the other night, revealing she was stunned when she realized her journey had begun at a young age. “I made a decision at 11, and I’ve never stopped. I made this deep commitment, and I never questioned it or reexamined it,” she claimed, adding:
“It wasn’t until my late 20s and early 30s that I started reevaluating: ‘Is this still what I want?’ So far, the answer has been yes, but I’m not afraid of the day it’s no.”

Miley doubled down on being brave enough to leave show business in the future, noting that there could come a day when her status as an entertainer no longer interests her. “And that’s okay,” she added, stating that she was not afraid to walk away from her years-long career.

“When we’ve shared so much of ourselves, having those little precious times with something simple, like putting a seed in the ground and nurturing it, it becomes a very personal process,” she explained.
