In a blistering post on Saturday, Turning Point USA spokesperson Andrew Kolvet alleged that Jimmy Kimmel’s monologue statement contained an “implicit message” for the left that “we don’t think conservatives deserve to live.”
On the day before Charlie Kirk’s highly-publicized memorial service, his spokesperson, who was the one who confirmed Kirk’s death on September 10 and is remaining in that role at Turning Point USA, per TheWrap, eviscerated Jimmy Kimmel in a shockingly dark post shared to his X account, alleging the late-night host had an “evil” message hidden in the monologue that got him suspended “indefinitely.”
Kimmel was suspended on Wednesday by ABC after FCC chair Brendan Carr went on a conservative podcast and stated that the network needed to do something about Kimmel, telling affiliate stations to “step up,” and saying, “We can do this the easy way or the hard way.”
Within hours, Nexstar and Sinclair, the two politically conservative companies that combined own more than 60 ABC affiliate stations, came out and stated that they would be preempting Kimmel’s show. It wasn’t long after that ABC suspended the late-night host.
It all stemmed back to comments Kimmel made on his Monday show: “We hit some new lows over the weekend, with the MAGA gang desperately trying to characterize this kid who murdered Charlie Kirk as anything other than one of them and doing everything they can to score political points from it,” Kimmel said Monday in a much-shared quote.

Less shared was that he continued, “In between the finger pointing there was grieving. On Friday, the White House flew the flags at half-staff, which got some criticism, but on a human level you can see how hard the President is taking this.”
From here, Kimmel played a clip of Trump being asked how he’s doing since Kirk’s death, with Trump responding, “I think very good,” before immediately pivoting to talking about construction of his White House ballroom. “Yes, he’s at the fourth stage of grief,” Kimmel quipped afterward,” Construction.”
While many have condemned Kimmel’s suspension, seeing it as government overreach after what they saw as Carr’s veiled threats to ABC, Kolvet, who also served as executive producer of The Charlie Kirk Show, thinks it was the right thing to do. In fact, the TPUSA spokesperson argues it was Kimmel making veiled threats … to all conservatives.
“Something important that’s being missed with the Jimmy Kimmel saga,” he wrote in his Saturday post. “By spreading the vile lie that Charlie was assassinated by MAGA, the implicit message from Kimmel was clear: If you kill a conservative, we will cover for you. We will whitewash the murder because we don’t think conservatives deserve to live. Kill more. Assassinate more. We have your back. This is evil.”

He went on to say that “executives at ABC rightly received a deluge of complaints from affiliates. They asked Kimmel to apologize for lying and he refused, instead vowing to double down. Only then did he get canned.”
Networks like ABC, NBC, and CBS enjoy massive taxpayer supported privileges and advantages because they are supposed to contribute to the ‘public good,'” Kolvet’s post continued. “Those privileges come with a responsibility to not knowingly spread harmful lies like the one Kimmel was spreading.”
“Jimmy Kimmel is not a victim. He’s a liar,” Kolvet’s message concluded. “Jimmy Kimmel is not a martyr. Charlie is. Let’s keep that straight.”
Organizers for Kirk’s memorial service today anticipate upwards of 300,000 attendees. The Turning Point USA co-founder had become one of the most prominent conservative political activists in the nation, and had just kicked off his “The American Comeback Tour” when he was shot and killed on September 10.
The fatal shooting took place during Kirk’s signature debate format at Utah Valley University which saw him seated on a stage as students spoke to him from a microphone positioned in front of him. He was debating with one student about gun violence when he was shot and killed.

Two days later, Tyler Robinson, 22, was identified as the suspected shooter. He was taken into custody on September 11 and has been charged on multiple counts, including aggravated murder, for Kirk’s death. The prosecution has stated its intention to pursue the death penalty.
After his death, Kirk’s wife Erika was elected to replace him as CEO of TPUSA, vowing that the “movement my husband built will not die.” She is among those expected to speak at Sunday’s service.
Also expected to speak are Vice President J.D. Vance, who reportedly escorted his casket from Utah to Arizona on Air Force Two, per ABC News, and President Trump, who has said he intends to award Kirk a posthumous Medal of Freedom, the nation’s highest civilian honor.
Additional speakers at the service, which is scheduled to begin at 2 p.m. ET at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona and will be live broadcast on multiple outlets including Fox News, CNN, and NewsNation, include White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles, Secretary of State Marcio Rubio, Secret of Health and Human Services Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Secret of War Pete Hegseth, Director of National Intelligence, Tulsi Gabbard, White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller, Donald Trump Jr., Tucker Carlson, and Sergio Gor, Trump’s nominee for U.S. Ambassador to India.
