Cardi B is making headlines after a fiery outburst outside a Los Angeles courthouse, where the rapper, whose real name is Belcalis Almánzar, is currently facing a civil assault trial tied to an alleged 2018 altercation with a security guard. The “WAP” hitmaker lost her cool when asked about pregnancy rumors as she exited the courthouse, throwing a pen at a man in the crowd and scolding him for being “disrespectful.” The viral moment comes as Cardi B continues to fight allegations that she struck, spit on, and injured security guard Emani Ellis during a visit to a Beverly Hills obstetrician’s office while pregnant.

As Cardi exited the court, a man in the crowd asked her about ongoing rumors that she is expecting her fourth child with ex-husband Offset. The “Bodak Yellow” hitmaker, who is now dating NFL star Stefon Diggs, did not take kindly to the speculation.

According to Daily Mail, she immediately hurled the pen in her hand at the man before scolding him in front of cameras. “That’s for disrespecting me. Don’t disrespect me,” Cardi fumed as her bodyguard rushed her toward a waiting car. When the man continued speaking, she snapped again, “You’re disrespectful. Don’t do that. Do you see women asking those type of questions to me? Do you see women asking those questions to me?”

She added, “Why do you feel, as a man, you get to ask me those type of questions? Act like you have some manners and your mama taught you. ‘Respect women.’”

Cardi’s courthouse blowup came as her trial over an alleged 2018 incident continues to unfold. The case stems from accusations made by security guard Emani Ellis, who claims the rapper assaulted her while visiting an obstetrician’s office during her pregnancy.

On the stand, the “Bodak Yellow” rapper admitted to confronting Ellis but denied ever getting physical. The rapper did acknowledge calling Ellis a “b-tch” during their heated encounter.

On August 26, the trial took an unexpected turn when opposing counsel Rosen Janfaza admitted confusion over Cardi’s changing hairstyles. “Yesterday you had black hair, short hair. Today it’s blonde and long. Which one is your real hair? Or are they both real?” he asked, prompting Cardi to roll her eyes and laugh before replying, “They’re wigs!” Janfaza quickly backpedaled with a compliment, “Sorry, I didn’t know that. It’s a good wig today then.”

Cardi drew more laughs when Janfaza pressed her with unfamiliar legal jargon. He asked, “When I’m talking to you now, are we having a verbal altercation?” Cardi shot back without hesitation, “We’re having, I’ll say, a debate,” leaving the courtroom chuckling.

Cardi testified that the security guard had followed her through a hallway until they were “chest-to-chest.” Recalling the moment, she quipped, “I’m thinking to myself, ‘Girl is big!’ She’s big, she got big black boots on, and I’m like, ‘Damn, the hell am I gonna do now?’”
