Aubrey O’Day Has Strong Feelings About Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ Sentencing

Singer Aubrey O’Day is fed up with the public weighing in on what should happen at Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs‘ upcoming sentencing on October 3, 2025. In a new interview, O’Day, who worked with Diddy as the front woman for his girl group, Danity Kane, blasted a wide range of people, including journalists and influencers, for sharing what she believes to be “misinformation.” O’Day then challenged the public to trust the legal process, assuring them that the judge would use his expertise to determine Diddy’s future.

Speaking with OK Magazine, O’Day expressed her frustration with those who have been commenting on Diddy’s sentencing as if they’re legal experts. “Speculation isn’t expertise,” she said.

She argued that only a select group of people are qualified to speak on Diddy’s trial, and general commentators are not among them.

“Unless you are a criminal defense attorney who has handled charges identical to this case, you should refrain from offering ‘expert’ predictions and allow the judge to fulfill the duty he was sworn to uphold,” she said.

O’Day then pointed to the judge’s decision to deny Diddy bail “after repeated attempts.”

“That speaks volumes,” she added. “The courts have clearly recognized the potential risk he still poses to society, and any sentence must not only secure accountability, but also ensure sufficient time for meaningful rehabilitation — a period long enough to address the severity of his crimes, protect the public, and create the conditions for genuine reform.”

She continued, “They wanted him to get bailed out. They wanted him to be able to go home prior to sentencing. And the judge is being clear: no. That’s not common, so obviously the judge feels that he heard and saw things that are concerning for him.”

Diddy’s federal trial on charges of racketeering, conspiracy, and transportation to engage in prostitution began in the summer of 2025.

After an emotional seven-week trial that saw 34 witnesses take the stand, a jury convicted Combs on two counts of the latter charge, meaning he could face up to 20 years in prison.

According to BBC News, prosecutor Maurene Comey said she’d fight for the full 20 years, adding, “It is clear that the defendant does pose a danger.”

Judge Arun Subramanian will sentence Diddy on October 3; he is expected to receive 10 months’ credit for time served.

O’Day’s recent comments about the “Finna Get Loose” rapper aren’t the first time the 41-year-old has publicly condemned her former boss for his alleged behavior.

In fact, O’Day questioned the music mogul this summer after learning his 18-year-old daughters were present in court for harrowing testimony detailing alleged rape and sexual and physical abuse by Diddy.

“The fact that the kids are marching up to that court, praying over everything, and walking in with a bunch of women also that are encouraging it,” O’Day said. “I don’t know any father that would want their children to sit through testimony about how much their daddy liked to watch people [get] lubricated, f-cking, getting p-ssed on and urinated in their mouths, having his girlfriend come in the other room and rub their c-m all over his nipples.”
