Princess Beatrice Reportedly Impacted By Parents’ Epstein Links

The sins of the father upon the children could just about sum up Princess Beatrice‘s experience.

Prince Andrew‘s eldest daughter may now need to ditch her royal ambitions against her will in light of her mother, Sarah Ferguson‘s, newly exposed connection to Jeffrey Epstein.

Princess Beatrice had reportedly made moves to keep a healthy distance from her father last year to create a better chance at becoming an integral part of the workforce in the royal family.

Closest friends of Beatrice, who is currently the ninth in line to the throne, have revealed her enthusiasm to carry out more royal assignments if bestowed the honor by King Charles. The monarch himself was said to have been impressed by her commitment to fulfilling royal duties during some recent appearance.

The king is also quietly nurturing plans to expand the royal workforce to keep business going following the treatments he and Kate Middleton have been receiving for cancer. However, with the jarring revelations about parents, that day may never come.

A source noted to PEOPLE that while Beatrice has earned accolades for her work ethic, and the general belief that she should not partake in the sins of her father, some concerns still abound. In their words:

“But the King’s courtiers are concerned Andrew could try to ‘get in via the back door’ by exerting influence over her.”

In the leaked emails exchanged between Ferguson and Epstein, she explained to the convicted sex offender that her public announcement to cut ties with him was all a PR effort. 

As noted by The Blast, the Duchess of York profusely apologized for her statement and proceeded to reemphasize her friendship with Epstein, describing him with endearing words.

Since the shocking revelations were made public, drastic action has been taken against Ferguson and, by extension, Prince Andrew, with counsel advising them to stay away from upcoming royal events indefinitely.

The decision was reportedly made to salvage the royal family’s image, which had already been through a strenuous period with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s drama. Ferguson and Andrew were further advised to take private entry and exit points if they have to attend compulsory events.

With these protocols being put in place, it is safe to say Prince Andrew and his estranged wife’s presence at the Royal Family’s Christmas celebrations remains under severe uncertainty.

The children’s book author has begun paying dearly for emails that were reportedly sent over a decade ago, losing her spot across several charities. Her camp has also responded to the content of the email, asserting that it was sent under duress.

According to them, Ferguson did the right thing by severing ties with Epstein publicly; however, she was threatened with a lawsuit behind the scenes. The disgraced billionaire reportedly planned to sue Ferguson for defamation, and she was duly advised to pacify him with those texts.

While she was able to achieve her aim, her team noted that she still discontinued the friendship upon grasping the full scope of Epstein’s hideous crimes.

The Duchess’s team emphasized that she carries regret in her heart about ever fostering a friendship with Epstein and has tried to rectify the situation by dedicating years of her life to supporting young and vulnerable people.

As soon as Andrew stepped away from royal assignment, Princess Beatrice began strategizing ways to secure her inheritance and future, upon the realization that her father’s controversies had put her at great risk. 

Last year, GB Newsshared that sources close to the princess affirmed that she knows it would be in her best interest to align with the king even if that means cutting her father off.

“Even though Beatrice has landed comfortably by marrying into an Italian aristocratic family, it’s mortifying to have Andrew decimate the family’s fortune and reputation,” another source explained.

Princess Beatrice married her husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzo, an English-born Italian property developer, in 2020 and welcomed two daughters, Sienna and Athena.
