Sean “Diddy” Combs continues to receive supportive messages from his friends and family as his sentencing date approaches.

His son, Justin Dior Combs, has called for his release, days after it was revealed that the rapper’s fellow inmates sent letters to a judge detailing how his business course has benefited them.

Sean “Diddy” Combs faces up to 10 years in jail for each count of his prostitution-related conviction, but his lawyers want the judge to hand him a 14-month sentence.

Diddy’s Son Calls For His Release

Diddy’s oldest son, Justin, is the latest family member to call for his release ahead of his sentencing on October 3.

According to Us Weekly, the actor took to social media on Friday, demanding that his father be released unconditionally, writing, “FREE PD ASAP!!”

Diddy, who shares Justin with ex-girlfriend Misa Hylton, has been locked up at the notorious Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, and can be cumulatively locked up for up to 20 years after he was found guilty of 2 counts of transportation to engage in prostitution.

The “Finna Get Loose” rapper had the support of his family members, who attended court several times during his 6-week-long trial.

In a previous letter to the judge, Justin acknowledged that his father isn’t perfect and had “made mistakes,” but told the judge not to see him as the headlines depict him.

“Since his absence, life has felt incomplete. Each morning, I wake up praying it was just a nightmare,” Justin wrote, per CNN. “My father has been there for me every day of my life — not just physically, but emotionally, spiritually, and in the deepest sense of what it means to be a father. I know how rare that is.”

He added, “Please allow him the chance to come home, to be the father his children desperately need, and to continue the work of becoming the man I know he is capable of being.”

Diddy’s Other Loved Ones Also Wrote Letters To The Judge

Aside from Justin, Diddy’s other children have reportedly written more than 70 letters demanding their father’s release.

His mom, Janice, wrote in a signed letter to the judge saying, “I don’t know how much longer I will be around, but I would love to be able to see him and his children together again.”

Christian “King” Combs, who the embattled rapper shares with the late model and actress Kim Porter, said in his own note to the judge that his father doesn’t deserve to be in jail.

“I’m asking you to please let my father out of jail! He does not deserve to be there, and I know this from the bottom of my heart !!,” he wrote.

The Rapper’s Fellow Inmates Offer Support In Their Letters

Even Diddy’s fellow inmates share the opinion that the rapper should be treated with leniency, as they wrote in letters praising his “Free Game” course, according to TMZ.

The “I’m Coming Home” rapper’s lawyer, Brian Steel, submitted notes from the inmates who participated in the “Free Game With Diddy” course, detailing how the program has positively impacted their lives.

An inmate named Arturo Santiago said that because of the class, he now has “a purpose, something to look forward to every day.”

“He has shown us that it is the little adjustments to our everyday lives that add up to a big change,” stated another inmate named Douglas Welch.

“Mr. Combs’ class is about setting up realistic goals on a weekly basis … He has shown me that it’s never too late to start, nor is it ever too late to achieve your dreams,” wrote Wellington Eustate.

Another inmate by the name Charles Scruggs wrote, “I was really appreciative to receive some knowledge of sorts to take back to the real world and not have to think about doing something illegal. He taught me to come up with a plan.”
