Tom Brady Says ‘We Got This One Right’ In Gushing Letter About Son Jack

Tom Brady recently opened up about raising his son, Jack Moynahan, who recently turned 18, seemingly praising his co-parenting with his ex-partner, Bridget Moynahan.

The football star attended his son’s birthday bash and gushed in his newsletter about how he feels that he and Moynahan “got this one right,” referring to the way they raised him.

It was a different tone from Tom Brady’s previous letter, in which he seemingly took a dig at his ex-wife, Gisele Bündchen, who had complained about how his dedication to football came at the expense of their family.

Brady celebrated his co-parenting relationship with Moynahan while discussing his son, Jack, in his latest newsletter.

The NFL legend and the actress’s son turned 18 last week, and in his writing, Brady expressed pride in the person Jack has become thanks to his and Monahan’s efforts.

“As a parent, the home is the classroom and you are in pure teaching mode all the way up until your kids are about 13 or 14 years old,” Brady wrote, per the Daily Mail. “That’s when their friend group starts to have a huge impact on the shape of their social personality, and you begin to learn what kind of teacher you really are.”

Brady’s praise for Moynahan and their co-parenting efforts comes after he seemingly took shots at his ex-wife, Gisele Bündchen, in another newsletter.

During their marriage, which ended in 2022 after Brady reversed his retirement from football, the Brazilian-born supermodel had often hinted that his dedication to the NFL had a negative impact on their family.

As reported by The Blast, in a July newsletter, Brady appeared to address her concerns, stating that “part of being a great father is being a great example of doing what it takes to take care of your family,” noting that he “chose to do it by playing football.”

He noted that his “dedication to the sport” and the hours he put into practicing and perfecting his skills were the times he was doing his “best possible thing” for his children and family.

Brady, who shares son Benjamin and daughter Vivian with Bündchen, added that “reading bedtime stories and helping them with homework are not the only ways to be a great parent,” and that his commitment to his career was also a way of setting an excellent example for his children.
