The Bravo Alum Had Her Low Moments With Immunotherapy

While the series of treatments bore impressive results, they also had a downside to them, which she was public about with her Instagram followers.

As reported by The Blast, Mellencamp weighed in on the side effects of immunotherapy, which often left her with anxiety. She then asked the public questions about whether anyone going through immunotherapy also experienced the same effects. In her words:

“Like today, I was able to walk, I did the podcast, and now I’m just sitting here full of anxiety. It’s common. What are the things that you guys have done to help make you feel better? Let me know.”

She also added that it had become essential for her to find a support group for stage IV melanoma patients like herself so they can share ideas to help heal faster.
