Meghan reportedly mixed business with pleasure during Kris Jenner’s star-studded 70th birthday celebration over the weekend.

According to a source who spoke to Page Six, the Duchess of Sussex was “in full networking mode,” mingling with Hollywood elites and major industry figures.

“She schmoozed with a lot of power players,” the insider revealed, describing Meghan as poised and effortlessly “cool.”

The lavish James Bond-themed party took place at Amazon founder Jeff Bezos’ $175 million Beverly Hills estate, drawing a glittering guest list that included Lauren Sánchez, Mariah Carey, Justin and Hailey Bieber, Oprah Winfrey, Tina Knowles, and Rita Wilson. Inside the soirée, Meghan was briefly featured in now-deleted Instagram photos alongside Kim Kardashian.

Jenner herself also shared and later removed pictures with the Sussexes, including one of the trio laughing together and another taken in front of photographers.

While no reason has been given for why the images were taken down, several sources have offered conflicting explanations.

According to DeuxMoi insiders, the deletions might be connected to Meghan’s decision not to wear the traditional red Remembrance poppy, which is a small but deeply symbolic gesture in the U.K. each November.

Celebrity columnist Rob Shuter reported on his #ShuterScoop that the Sussexes themselves requested the removal of the “unapproved” images and were allegedly “furious” that they had been shared without their approval.

“They were polite but firm—nothing goes online without their sign-off,” one source claimed. “They’ve built their brand on control, and they weren’t about to let a Kardashian post ruin that.”

As for the Kardashian camp, the response was reportedly less than gracious.

“Kris doesn’t like being told what to do—especially not by royals who live in Montecito,” a source explained. “She said if Meghan and Harry want control, they can have it—just not on her guest list.”

Palace Insiders ‘Appalled’ By The Sussexes’ Hollywood Appearance, Question Their Role In The Monarchy

In the UK, Meghan and Harry’s presence at Jenner’s extravagant bash reportedly left palace insiders “surprised” and “appalled.”

Royal sources told Page Six that their attendance served as yet another reminder that “Harry is so far removed from the rest of the family.”

“It’s so tacky,” one royal aide remarked. “These people may be stars in America, but the pure ostentatiousness is at odds with what Prince William is trying to do with his life and the monarchy.”

Still, the insider admitted that a few officials quietly believe the couple could play a role in the royal family’s future, particularly once Prince William becomes king.
